One of the most classic games ever is Pac-Man. Now here's the thing about this game; initially, it seems stupid and very boring. But once you really get into it, it can become an incredibly awesome game. Going back to my friend again, the same system that had Dig Dug also had Pac-Man. We would compete to who could get to the highest level, which was measured with "fruits"; level 1 was cherry, level 2 was strawberry, then it went to different things until you finally got to the key.
There were no new items after the key, so we had to count how many keys we got to. Eventually we got so many keys it filled up the whole screen, and we would not remember which key we were on. I think the highest level my friend ever got to, as he was the best, was like the 11th or 12th key, which is like level 23 to 25.
The reason we could get so high is because my friend perfected a move known as the "gip". Anyone who could pick up on the "gip" could outsmart the ghosts and eliminate 80% of the pellets without using any of the power pellets. When you got up really high, the gip stopped working, and eventually the power pellets stopped working as well. That's how crazy it got.
